I have an interview with a major hospital in Dayton, Ohio after recently working in a physicians office. The pay at the physician's office was very low for an RN with 19 years experience ($19.90/hr). Can anyone give me an idea of the going rate for an experienced RN working in critical care in a major hospital in Dayton?

Well I just know what i have been making after 17 years at one of the big hospitals, You can pm if you want. around $31 and there was just a market increase for nurses working bedside. but I personally think my hospital is the best in the area.

Kettering Health Network which consists of Kettering Hospital (the one I work at), Sycamore Hospital (located in Miamisburg and also a good choice) then Grandview and Southview (both of those were bought by Kettering). Good Luck, Oh if you do go there please PM I can get a bonus.
Thanks for the info. It is very interesting that the hourly rate for hospital (and physician office!) nursing has not grown comparably with other professions with the same educational training. I guess we continue to nurse because we love it.
