RN to RDMS

Published

Hey all, I am currently an RN (specifically a Hospice RN) looking to continue onto school and obtain a bachelors degree for an RDMS. Loads of questions, first has anyone done this, second, what does the pay scale look like? I am just now studying for my Hospice certification as I've worked in the specialty for 2 years. I love what I do, but I don't feel settled... Like I could be happy where I am, but not fully satisfied. Does this make sense? I think it's with nursing in general, not specifically Hospice. The emotional toll my body has gone through has been unbelievable. In a good way. I love life. It's so special. My job is emotionally satisfying... But my hands... They just need something. Something more to be focused on and to do. I have wanted to learn sonography since before nursing school, seriously considering taking the plunge:) thanks for any and all advice.
