Specializes in ortho, flu shot clinics, call center.
Hi,
I'm an RN with, I would say, "moderate" experience clinically. Meaning, after graduating in 2000, I only ever worked part-time so never got lots of full-time bedside under my belt. I did do hospital (ortho) for 6 years, but the last 2 years of that 6 years I was on-call, and worked seldom. For the past two years now, I've been a stay-at-home mom doing an telephone nursing job screening clinical trial applicants, one day a week. I am looking for a refresher course or internship, or something to help me get back up to speed to do clinical again. I'm in the Portland area.
If it is any help, the Intercollegiate Center of Nursing Education (ICNE), in Spokane, has a partially online refresher course. Contact them for the details.
