Hello,
I am an RN with a non-nursing bachelor's degree. I am looking to do a bridge program for RN-MSN most likely in Leadership. I am looking for a program that is not writing intensive where I do not have to write paper after paper. I am enrolled in a RN-BSN program, but it will take me another year at least to complete. Since I already have a BS I feel like I am wasting my time and money taking these classes for my BSN if my goal is a MSN. Are there any recommendations?

Hi,
I was in a similar situation looking for a MSN for RN's with a non-Nursing Bachelor's Degree. I found three schools that have a mechanism for this without requiring a BSN. They are the University of South Alabama, University of Alabama-Birmingham and Loyola University New Orleans.
I applied and was accepted at the University of South Alabama. Best wishes in your future.

Most of the programs will be writing intensive, as they are based on research. Good luck going forward
