hi,i have just started my 4 wks placement for my last semester of my diploma in nursing course and am planning to start rn at qut in july, then im planning to study mbbs at uq i want to hear from past students who have gone this path, whether there are any extra subjects i have to study in the rn course or any information that could help me know as much as possible, i know that to get into the mbbs at uq i have to have a gpa of 5.00, what is gpa and is it a exam i have to sit for? i know that i also have to pass the gamsat exam.

Your GPA is your Grade point average (not an exam). It is created from your grades from your tertiary studies. Otherwise you can get an OP/GPA by doing a steps course. I'm assuming your GPA will be created from your prior marks from your RN Bachalor.

Generally aside from the Gamstat, I'm aware an interview is also held to see if you're a personality fit/professional fit for this area of study at the university in question.
