Hi. My license has recently been put on probation. I've been applying to many case manager roles. A lot of these roles says "RN license preferred" as a qualification. It is a remote/ hybrid role for workers comp case management. Do you know if the BRN would approve this and how does the supervision work?

Did you try contacting the board with that question? I would say everything is case by case and they are the most reliable source

My probation monitor is no help, he never picks up phone calls or replies in time. I got the job offer but it is remote. Do you know how the supervision works for this role. The job position prefers for you to be an RN but it is not required.
If you know of any support groups for nurses on probation, that would be helpful. thank you

The position doesn't require an RN license so if you want the job take it. Report the employment to your probation monitor and if the position isn't qualifying for any required supervision you can decide if you want to keep looking for a nursing job or just work in the position that doesn't require your nursing license.

Yes, they should. Asking for a copy of procedures is a bit much, the policy and procedure for my workplace is over 600 pages so I'd clarify exactly what they are looking for. If they really want a huge document you should be able to get it, ours in online so if your employers is you'd need to have clearance to provide it from your employer before you print it. Same if it's still in paper form, these are usually internal documents not meant to leave the building so get permission before you submit anything to your monitor. RN duty statement could just be your job description, your employer should give you that during onboarding.
