RN- Letter of Reprimand in GA

Have any Nurses ever received a letter of public reprimand with fines and classes but no restrictions?

Have you lost your compact license??

Have it been easy for you to find a job?

Have you had any issues with Higher learning?

I made a stupid mistake and now I'm paying for it.

I made a medication error as a new nurse and I have had a lot of consequences from my mistake and I'm just ready to move on with my life.

I have to sign a consent order that included fines, classes and a letter of reprimand.

I guess I just want to hear from those who have experience with the GA BON.

Im in Mississippi which may be similar to Georgia. I got a letter of reprimand and my probabtion is 2 years (1 year left) and I had to pay a fine, take classes of course I have to attend 3 AA/NA meetings a week, check in daily for urine drug screens and the drug screens are usually 1-2 times a month, usually 2.  Good luck!

Have you tried applying at different facilities or hospitals?

No I haven’t , I like LTC.  I used to work in dialysis though and they hire nurses in recovery
