RN Labor & Delivery which course I need to study

Hi, I would be grateful if someone could advise me on which course/program I should select to study if I want to become RN and work with labor and delivery. Do I need to study at uni or college? Is there college or uni in Long Island around Mastic, Sayville area? Sorry guys I just moved from UK and looks like am not moving back staying here and thinking of starting new career in my life! I'm not knowledgeable about the process for obtaining US licensure - but it sounds like you already have that figured out. I can recommend a wonderful source of online OB education that can provide you with the basics. The Sullivan Group is a very well-known company that focuses on improvement of high-risk clinical outcomes - they're used throughout the US. They have an online learning library for "Labor & Delivery" that you can access. The courses include case studies for application of FHM principles to different scenarios. We have used these courses for nursing competency development & participants liked them a lot. HERE is the link.
