RN jobs in WNY

Are there a lot of RN jobs in Buffalo/Niagara area? If so what area are they in and what do they pay?

There are alot of nursing jobs in WNY, the bummer is the poor pay, unbelievable workload and mandated overtime in many facilities. The RN pay seems to average around $19/hr with benefits. Buffalo has quite afew hospitals, including several teaching sites, like UB and a big trauma center renowned in the area, ECMC. Roswell Cancer Center has a good reputation, too. I would suggest calling Human Resources and asking about money and benefits, flex scheduling, etc. over the phone. Ask about tuition reimbursement and con't ed opportunities, too. good luck
