I am in desperate need of a nurse to interview for my Nursing 104 class at Indiana State University. I have to write a paper which is due next week. I am cutting it very close, I know but the contacts that I tried to interview never got back to me. Here are the questions (and any other information that one wants to give that isn't included below is appreciated too!):

1. What type(s) of education did you receive to become a nurse (Bachelor's, Graduate, etc.)? Where did you receive your education? How long did it take?

2. What areas of practice have you worked in? What drove you to those areas? Why, if applicable, did you change areas? What area did you like the most and the least and why? In what area do you currently work?

3. How many years of experience do you have in the nursing career?

4. What is your personal definition of nursing?

5. What are some positive and negative experiences you have had in your career?

6. What types of changes have your seen in nursing?

7. What are some examples of legal and ethical issues you have experienced?

8. Have you experienced any strong emotional ties with any of your patients and their families?

9. What are some characteristics that make a good nurse? A bad nurse?

10.What advice would you give to a nursing student in order to be successful in the career? What strategies do you use in your career in order to be successful?

11. What type of relationship do/did you have with other medical personnel (physicians, technicians, paramedics, etc.)?

12. What is your overall view of the future of nursing?

Thank you so much for helping me! :D I can give my school email if you want to answer the questions that way. I come on to the allnurses.com website all of the time to gain information of my journey through school and finally registered as a member.

Would love to help you, but it would be easier if you would PM an email address.

Since I'm a new member I can't PM yet. I know it is at my own risk to put my email address on here but I'm so grateful that you replied so quickly and need to get working on my paper soon so...my school email is [email protected].
