RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

Published

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

I already had the vaccines except the hepatitis b. So I gave them my titers.

Has anyone gotten anything about the orientation emailed? I know someone had posted they received a rule book or something. My orientation is tomorrow so just wanted to be sure we don't need to bring anything with us..

I need to get uniforms but I'm so confused because everyone is posting so many stores. I will like to go to a store where I can get the uniforms and logo. Please help. By the way I live near MDC medical campus.

so you dint turn in any paper saying that you started you hp b vaccination or that you already did the other one

I did like the form they give us will only show one shot and they said it's fine since I'm gonna take the other one in a few weeks and the 3rd one in a month. But the titers show if u still immune or not so that was enough for me

How is everyone dressed btw? I don't wanna walk in with shorts only to have others with dressed shirts, pants, and things like that.

I asked the lady that I turned my paperwork in what to wear and she said just dress casual. I'll prob wear jeans and nice shirt and play it safe (:

ohh ok i thought you post somewhere that you need it the mmr

Its supposed to be 3 days apart. The nurse I was with insisted I came three days after the first one or I would have to do it again. But talk to them and see what they say. And btw, I remember someone talking about links or PDF files of the books that the previous semester students had. If u guys know anything can u share.

Yes I did. Sorry I thought u meant another vaccine. I had to take it ur eight and the Dr put in the form that I took it. No other paperwork
