RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

I called the school clinic and they said they did not have it. So i called the xray place and they told me they had it Ready, i just passed by there to pick up a copy and bring it to school

Cant believe its right around the corner. Every person ive met seems to be doing accelerated. And they were about to go to med, dent, etc. School as post grad.

I did it last Thursday. I called today to the Wellness clinic and they told me that tomorrow they will have it. I'm planning to go tomorrow after my baby's appointment.

I know people who did really bad on the nln and got accepted. I believe mdc is going by the science and overall gpa. I was told the nln was compromised

Do you guys think it's ok to get our scrubs before orientation or should I wait ??? Let me know I'm anxious to go get mine I want to have every set :) already turned in my papers today :)

Hi everyone, I am a nursing student at the homestead campus and am in my second semester. Congratulations to everyone who got accepted, and to those who have not heard from MDC yet, do not be discouraged. I remember how lost I felt during the acceptance process, so if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. Just a few tips: Do not buy your uniform scrubs from MDC; they are over priced and fit terrible. You can go to Uniform Advantage and buy Hunter Green scrubs, and you can have the MDC logo placed for $5.00 at All Uniform Wear 27495 South Dixie Highway. Also, do not buy the Books package that MDC sells you for like $600.00. I have not even used 1/3 of the books they recommended. If you guys can, rent the books online and wait until you get to class so that your professor can tell you which books are necessary. Also, make sure at orientation you order a name plate at the book store because it takes a month to get delivered and you will need it for clinicals. Hope this information is helpful to some of you.
