HI, I'm getting ready to take the RN entrance exam. Can anyone tell me what I should look forward too on the test? Like, how much math, science, vocab ect? Any help would be appriciated. Tks, LaDonna :uhoh21:

I took mine last September, and I had bought the NLN book and studied like there was no tomorrow. I got my highest in the Chemistry section. Ours everything was times, and the guy was right on the minute with you. I think the vocab took the longest because of the short stories. I would suggest when doing the vocab to do all of the questions and save the short stories for last. Math was really hard for me, and I thought I actually did my best in that but it showed I did the worst in that. I have to say I had just passed the NLN. I think by a few points, but hey, as long as you pass :)
Thanks, I can't believe that in Indiana we have to do the Vocab and Chemistry along with math and reading for the RN entrance exam. In other states you only have to do math and reading. What kind of math is on the test? Is the Chemistry hard? Do they have Anatomy questions in the science or just chemistry? Tks...
