Hi there!!
I was looking into the RN-MSN with WGU as well; however, they do not offer you a GPA to transfer your MSN to another school. So, lets say you do your MSN with WGU and want to do a post masters at ASU because its cheaper. the problem is they wont accept it. :-(
If your goal is an MSN I suggest going for it, but at an accredited school that will offer you the ability to transfer with a GPA. GCU has an RN to MSN program and a FNP program. It's accredited and affordable but I have heard it is "easy As" and people aren't learning anything.
I am going to start the GCU RN-MSN program next month. Like you I have been an LVN for a long time. I have a two year degree, and a BS in a related feild but not nursing.
Maybe we can buddy up and help each other through the GCU msn program. It is approximately 14-18 months long.

thats great for her however that route is going to be tough, and unfortunately not one most people have time for.[/quote']There are others that have reported getting into other programs from the BSN to...... I just don't know then personally.
Examples of schools I've heard reported:
Frontier Nursing University
Walden U
South U
UNC-Charlotte
UNC-Chapel Hill
USA
UAB
And some school in Mass......

Aloha, I have a 2 year degree form Excelsior college, looking at starting RN-BSN or RN-MSN at WGU, however my goal is to complete NP education with specialty in behavioral health. Any advice ? I work full time and this program is doable with my schedule, have been a RN for 5 years about 7 years as LPN prior. Let me know what you guys think ?
