What does the "C" in RN, C mean? What kind of certification is it?

Specializes in OBSTERTICS-POSTPARTUM,L/D AND HIGH-RISK.

In Sept 2006 I recieved my certification in In-house OB through National Certification Corpporation. I had to study for and take a test that covered from antepartum to postpartum and everything in between. I am proud to say that I passed the test. So I get to signed with RNC. There are different tests that you can take in maternity nursing. Also you have to keep up your ceu's every 3 years to maintain it.:nurse:
