RN-BSN programs and new ADN grad jobs

Published

Hi there! I'm a nursing student in Ohio who is looking to move south after my graduation in June of '09. I'm interested in starting work right away, but delaying going back to school for my BSN until I have a few months' experience under my belt (Jan. of '10, I hope). Georgia is at the top of my list of places to move, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend which hospitals to apply to that offer new grad training programs/externships to begin with, and who also offer tuition reimbursment for continuing education? Kennesaw's RN-BSN program sounds demanding, but promising; however, I'm open to hearing about any other RN-BSN programs that you all have found worthwhile. Any information (including best times to apply for jobs, where to live, etc.) would be much appreciated! Thanks so much :)

emory, northside, children's are good!... grady and AMC might be a very stresfull places to be but if you can stand the working condition in these two intercity hospitals you'll get the best in 6 mon than you would get in any other hospitals imo. grady by the way work in a slow motion to see your application and stuff call them and show your interest.... i can say they all offer tuition rem, but don't quoat me :) start your application from now!! new grad posiotions are very compitative in this city.... and welcome to ATL !
