Sue, how far into the BSN are you at Excelsior? I have completed 35 out of the 55 credits I need. I am taking Writing for the Professions now. Great instructor for the course! I have been doing this for a little more than a year. I am not going quite as fast as I did for the Excelsior ASN....wanted that RN faster! I have 5 more courses left.
I just began. I was registered for writing but had to withdraw due to a death in the family. I start 2 classes - professional socializatin adn writing profs on 3/2. Luckily, the only gen ed I need is the writing so I'm planning on having this banged out in 4 3 mos therms and then "stop out" at the BSN and continue from there for the MSN.
I have looked into Indiana Wesleyan University online RN-BSN program. It is expensive, but appears to be hazzle free with books delivered to door. No
Chem, Statistics. I have alos looked into Grand Canyon University online.....similar deal. The State programs that I have looked into require too many "other" electives and prereqs...I am form Mass and the Un. of Mass you have to take several tests before beginning....it just turned me off as it is a hazzle to go and do them. Anyone doing the Ind Wesleyan or Grand Canyon?????????? would love to hear your experience.

Any students out there using University of Phoenix for their RN to BSN or MSN? If so, how would you rate it?
