anyone in this class starting 5/19?
Is there a textbook required for this Capstone class?
If anyone has recently taken this class, any advice on what to look forward to?

I took it a little less than a year ago. It's one of the easier courses.
I remember doing my resume as an assignment...again....for like the third class. And I remember writing a paper. Weekly discussion postings. Pretty straight-forward. Easy A.
i like easy A's!

I way over thought that class in the first week or two...for a 5 hr cr course I was thinking there was much more to it....I had to take lit with it and since lit didn't start until the week after cap did I pounded out most assignments for cap that first week before lit began...before I knew it I had almost everything done and was just waiting to submit them each week...not a bad class at all, made an A with relative ease...good luck!

Capstone is easy. No books. You have a weekly journal and discussion. Then you have other assignments on top of that. The biggest of which is a PowerPoint on a topic area - I chose postpartum depression. They let you do whatever you want in regard to organizing it, plus you have to add some information - like resources and cost, that you already found for previous assignments.
The only tricky this is week 4 and 5. The week 4 assignments are mostly due on Saturday at 8am, and the week 5 assignments are due on Monday morning at 8am of week 5, so this is really like a 4 week class. Just plan accordingly. I believe my final average was a 99.6?
