Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

U.S.A. Virginia

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

Did you apply for scholarships?

I'm so behind compared to you ladies. I'm just waiting on the rest of my books to come in, I have not purchased my uniform/shoes/supplies(I'll be doing that all next Friday). My tuition is paid for this term but I'm already saving for the next :-/. I still need to turn in the green (scholarship) form and you better believe the first scholarship I can apply to I'll be on top of things :-). I'm so ready and excited to start! I think all of my nerves are jumbled up with my baby starting daycare that I don't have any nervousness left for school. Lol

Aw!!! I'm sure! I'm so nervous!!

Haha that's cute! At least you don't have to worry about the money for this term. I've filled out the scholarship consideration form and turned it in. I've also applied to some scholarships that I have found online

kelzfuturenurse I turned my application in like a week ago, how many people actually class up for the program

Like a week ago

I also turned my app in a week ago and haven't heard anything back.. I am a little worried that they extended the deadline did they not have enough applicants I don't know if this is a good or bad thing... I will keep checking me email.

Yeah, just not enough applicants... the recruiter told me they extend deadlines when that happens. As far as the test date is concerned, you all might want to contact admissions and just see what is up with that.

In my opinion, the extension is probably a good thing. I would think it means less people apply for the January start date which means less competition.

Less competition is great! if its in his plan it will all work out, I will give them a call.

How many students do they have class up?

There is 32 people in my class that is about to start. Deadline extension has to be a good sign!
