Riverside City College (RCC) School of Nursing (SON) - Spring 2020

Hi there!

Welcome to the Forum for Prospective Nursing students starting in Spring of 2020.

The application period (subject to change and directly from RCC website) opens from the First Business day in September- the First Business day in October to apply for Spring.

Also, Please let me know if creating a Facebook group would be more streamlined.

Feel free to share questions, comments, concerns!

Oh yeah I using that book too! Plus my old A&P notes.? LOL okay I will comment on there now haha

I haven’t gotten mine for either... should I resend my application?

Well, I received mine confirmation email today at 12:30 AM. I actually was waiting, I thought to myself, “ Well, Saturday and Sunday weren’t business days so I give them until the end of Money and I did get anything on Tuesday, I will resend.” But the emailed me before I had time to resend it. Well if you sent it the same time as me (July 1st right when they opened the application), I would say yes, you should resubmit it. Make sure the application is filled out on Adobe( follow the directions on the application) . And if you are very worried, I think someone mentioned to go to Steven’s office hours to verify if he got it.

Hey girl, have you heard anything about TEAS invitations for Spring 2021? I haven’t heard anything ?

Hey! yes I actually spoke to him today and he said if we are invited to the TEAS we will be hearing back by next week ugh hopefully we do!! and someone asked about when we would officially know if we are in and he said by October or November!

Has anyone gotten an email? Maybe I’m impatient and it’s might be too early. I hope tomorrow we get an email. But I also wonder if they will send us an email if we didn’t get invited?

I haven't either, I'm getting worried because they said around this week. How is your GPA? I heard highest get invited but IDK how high

I'd definitely wait until tomorrow. I got invited last semester with an AAB. There were about 30 who were invited. I was still missing my statistics so I was put into the 20% lottery.

I thought amount a 100 get invited though? From what I hear from Jackie. I have AAA and about a 3.5 GPA in other classes

I have AAA sciences and about a 3.5 or 3.6 GPA in other course work.
