Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could explain what exactly a RCA score/percentage is.
We have not gone over this yet in school, and all of the info that I am finding online is over my head.
The info I am looking up says that the pt has a 40% RCA. I am just not getting how to explain to my instructor tomorrow in clinical what it is.

If you're talking about somebody with coronary artery disease, the percentage is usually how severe the blockage is. ie. 40% RCA = 40% of the total lumen is blocked.
Thanks for responding.
The pt has a hx of CABG x4
so I guess that would explain it.
