Taking LPN nclex soon. Im still going for my RN next year. So what review book should I get RN or LPN. Like everyone else I don't want to spend extra money if I don't have to, but I want to pass both tests. Does the RN books teach you what you would need for the LPN test.

I Received My California Lpn License Last Week After 6wks. Now, Im Applying For Endorsement And I Dont Know How Long It Takes....but Good Luck To You. So Back To Your Question I Used Rn Reveiwer Book Such As Lippicott Q @ A And Saunder Q @ A.
Well About Lpn You Have To Remember That;
Lpn Cannot Do Any Assessment,
Cannot Discharged Any Patient
Cannot Administer Iv Push,
Cannot Hang Any Iv. But If You Are Iv Certified. You Can Hang Iv Only Normal Saline And Antibiotic . They Can Even Put An Iv Line. Lastly They Cannot Delegate. That's The Only Thing You Have To Remember When You Take The Test. Aside From That, They Have Priority Question, Drugs, Calculation, And Etc....... While Im Waiting For My License To Arrive. Im Taken My Nclex Rn This Coming June And This Time Im Using Suzunne's Plan Advised Which Is Saunder Comprehensive Reveiw.

If you are taking the LPN exam, I strongly suggest that you study from an LPN review. You may either get the wrong focus or bring up the intensity level of the questions. In spite of the fact that LPNs and RNs may have similar skills in real life, NCLEX views it differently. I had a friend that for some strange reason took the RN, passed, and decided to take the LPN NCLEX. She failed it because our focus is different.
I dont know about that. I used lippincott RN NCLEX Q&A and RN NCLEX Saunder's Q&A. Took RN Test WEDS. and LPN THURS. After 28days i got my RN result------- FAILED. When i received my LPN result i PASSED. I Think it depends how you answer it. But anyway, im working on my RN nclex studying the same book and practice with saunder's CD also. GOOD luck everyone....im waiting for my ATT Permit for july test.
