Reunion - Plymouth School of Nursing March 1983 set

A very very long shot as I'm not sure how many British nurses look at this site but I'll try anyway!

Trying to organise a reunion of the student nurse set who started training in March 1983 and qualified in 1986 at Plymouth School of Nursing, Derriford Hospital. Wendy has done a lot work getting hold of people but some of you are seemingly untraceable, possibly due to married surnames (Julie, Natasha, Tina, Charlaine, even Steve though I'm sure you kept your surname!)

If by any outside chance any of you see this do send me a PM for details (if you haven't guessed, it's David!) If you have colleagues or friends who trained in Plymouth at that time do point this out them please.

By some amazing chance, I put a search into Google for Plymouth School of Nursing 1983 and found your post. I had been looking at old photos and wondered where everyone was, especially since we are all a lot older now; I don't know where the time goes.

I'm not usually a subscriber to this site, but have now opened an account in order to reply to you.

I trained with you in Plymouth 1983 -1986, my name then was Sarah Hogsflesh (now Douglass) and I shared a flat with Diane Withers (Sheeps Tor House)

I have managed to locate, Janet, Chris L and I think Steve, but I haven't made contact with them.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Having unexpectedly found one person through this I don't give up hope of finding others! Actually not many left to track down.

Due to Covid and the UK being once again in lockdown, we feel March is unrealistic hence we are putting back the reunion, probably to October 2021.  

Once again, if you know anybody who trained as an RGN in Plymouth around 1983 please do point this out to them.
