Returning to nursing!

I am 58 yrs old and live in New York. I have been out of the nursing field for 20 years. I can get my license back with no trouble but the problem is how difficult will it be for me to get a job! I would like to return to home health care if possible.

    In which part of New York are you located? If you are in NYC, you will likely be contending with a glutted job market that has way too many nurses combined with not enough nursing jobs for everyone who wants to work.

    The nursing job market started changing for the worse in late 2008 around the time of the economic meltdown and it has not quite recovered yet.
