Retaking a class at another school?

Hi all! I thought I would post here to get some opinions on something I've been debating with myself for a few weeks now. I currently attend a community college in southern California and am almost all but finished with my nursing pre-reqs. The goal is to begin applying to BSN programs next winter while I finish up my last two pre-reqs, General and Organic Chem. (Organic will be the only class not completed at the time of my application)

My pre-req grades look like this right now:

Microbiology- A

Gen Chem I- B

Nutrition- A

Developmental Psych- A

Cellular Bio- A

Anatomy- C

I'm currently in Physiology right now and am bound determined to get an A if it kills me or not. My only problem is the C in Anatomy. I've agonized over getting this grade for a semester now (I took it during summer, received a 78% but my school doesn't do +/-). Now, I'm trying to figure out if I do end up receiving an A in Physio, would it be worth it going to another community college to retake Anatomy and try and receive an A? (I haven't taken the TEAs yet)

I am just worried about how my GPA will look, seeing as everything is so extremely competitive and I worry about my chances getting into any program at all, especially in California. I've even started trying to look into programs out of the state as well.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Check to see if the schools youre interested in applying to, will accept retakes. Not all will. However, if they do, I would most definitely retake that class.
