I applied for fall 2015 day program. The deadline has just passed, so hopefully we'll all know something soon enough. I saw something somewhere (can't remember where) that says the TEAS score has to be greater than 80%. Study up your basic math and basic algebra. Honestly, I studied from their exam book only and passed the test. Hopefully the phone calls will start coming in as the deadline was April 1.
Seems like they are dumbing down the requirements to get into nursing school. Money, money, money. I'm sure they will neglect to inform incoming students that the job market for new grads is scarce. It's a saturated market now. Not enough jobs for too many grads. It took me more than a year and a half to land that first job.
Oh wow. May be a good idea to branch out of illinois? I have read a few comments on here that some people say the same thing. I also read that because a majority of nurses currently working are in their 40s and late 50s. They project a shortage of nurses due to timing of retirement and also hospitals are projected to start closing by 2020 because they are not as in use as they use to be ie..Healthcare cost. So it's actually better to work in a clinic or a good busy founded hospital. I'm not sure how true that is but it's interesting.

Is there anyone applying for the Fall 2016 BSN pre licensure day time program? Have you taken the TEAS? How was it? What can I expect to see on the test? Have you applied for financial aid? If this is your first BSN, did financial aid cover all, if not most of your tuition? Just trying to see if there's anyone on the same boat. As I have researched this website and found very limited information about resurrection university.
Would greatly appreciate the help.
Thank you!
