Resurrection University Fall 2013 Applicants

I decided to start this thread as I am applying to Resurrection's night program for the fall. I was just wondering if anyone else was applying and what parts of the process have you completed? I just sent in my application and will be applying for the Teas. Maybe we could all keep in touch and Good luck to everyone!

Do you know what books we will need for our classes? Cause there are not listed yet on the bookstore website..

I’m Dominika. I will probably work up to 30 hours a week, how about you? I have an associate degree in science.. I don’t have kids, do you? I live in Chicago (Cumberland and Foster).

I’ve never really tried learning in a study group.. Accept for those times that we had to work in groups during the classes. But they’ve talked a lot about study groups and that they are very helpful during the orientation so I guess it would be a good idea to make a study group, what do you think?

Does anyone remember how we get to where we can download Microsoft Office? Of course I didn't write it down and told myself I'd remember, but I dont. Haha Thanks!

Is anyone going to be getting the previous edition of any of the books to save money? I recall that at orientation someone asked and they said it should be fine if its just one edition previous. My financial aid didn't cover all the books so I was just going to get the older edition to save money.

I'm not using previous editions, but I have in the past. Usually the books are almost identical just page numbers maybe have changed. You can always photocopy the table of contents of a current edition and then compare it to the older edition so you know you are reading the right things.

Did anyone's nursing custom package come with a stethoscope? I thought it was supposed to.
