Resurrection University Fall 2013 Applicants

I decided to start this thread as I am applying to Resurrection's night program for the fall. I was just wondering if anyone else was applying and what parts of the process have you completed? I just sent in my application and will be applying for the Teas. Maybe we could all keep in touch and Good luck to everyone!

Hi, I have been accepted into the Fall 2013 program so far, it's the evening/weekend program. I already have my schedule for the Fall. Is anyone else in the same program?

Good luck to those who got accepted! I heard from my friend that Resurrection has a tough nursing program. Exit exams all the way. Good luck! :)

I was accepted for the fall 2013 traditional BSN program. I'm having serious doubts about this program. I've heard a lot of negative things. Anyone a current student that can share some of their opinions?

I have class on Monday and Thursday from 5 to 8. On Tuesday it's from 5 to 10.

That's for the first 8 weeks. The second 8 weeks its, Tuesdays from 5 to 10, and an online class

I am doing the evening/weekend because I have a 3 year old and I still have to work to work :)

I just got accepted also. I have a couple friends that graduated from the program and they said they were well prepared for the test. They had negative things to say as we'll as positive.

That's not bad! When do you start your clinicals and what are the hours, if you don't mind me asking? I have a five year old in the house, so I feel your pain trying to joggle school and family ... but we can do it!!! :up:

Clinical s start in January.....they are on Saturdays....Did you decide on day or evening yet?

Well, I am still not sure ....if I decide to do the evening program, I have to wait a year since I didn't have all of my science courses done prior to April 1st deadline (I had two science classes in progress)....however if I decide to do the day program I would be able to start January 2014, but that means no time for my family....I will be meeting with the admissions adviser next month so hopefully I will have my mind made up by then :wideyed:

I believe they are still accepting applications. They said evening and weekend are the last to get filled.

Hello everyone! I got accepted into the Fall 2013 evening/weekend program. Tonitonytone how did you get your schedule already? I thought that we will get our schedules during orientation and I'm still waiting for the email with orientation dates... Did you get all your health documents done?

I emailed someone to ask about the schedule, and they gave it to me about a month ago. It's also in the portal. That's funny ou ask about the health documents, I am online paying for everything now. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow.

Do you plan on working while you are in school?
