So, after repeatedly being put on standby (after being promised "all the hours I'll ever need"), as well as a litany of other reasons, I've decided to start looking for a full time position at another facility, instead of staying PRN where I'm currently working. My question is this:
I've only been at this hospital for 2 months, and since it's my first job out of school, I'm not sure how to list it on my resume. My current format lists my education, licenses, clinical rotations, professional work experience and summary of qualifications & experience (in that order). Is there a place that I should work in this job and keep my clinical experiences from school in, or should I re-work the entire resume and delete the clinical portion since that was during school?
Thanks in advance!

I think you should keep the clinical portion in since you only have 2 months experience. That will make it look like you have a little more experience IMO. Could you hold out for a least 6 months? I've always heard HR looks for at least 6-12 months of experience for new hires. At the hospital I work at, you can transfer to any floor after 6 months of experience.
Thanks for the advice! It's not that I can't hold out for 6 months, as much as it's my bank account may not be able to (and to a lesser extent my sanity). It's currently a PRN position that I'm in, and I've been put on stand-by for the last 5 out of 6 days that I was scheduled to work. Mind you, that was after being promised in the interview that I would have "all the hours I need". I understand it happening every once in a while, but sheesh! A girl's gotta live.
