no ideas for sites, but make sure that you put your clinical experience in your resume!
1. at top in lg letter (no fancy font or color) name
smaller: address, ph#, email
2. Edu: highest degree or degrees (I have 2 BS, & left out my AA's), GPA & if Honor roll
3. Experience
I began with nursing student clinical experience & broke them up.
IE: m/s, location, dates, then 2 acheivements or responsibilities
Then work exper: put current job here if have one
Then volunteer work experience & 2 goals, respon or achievements
Lastly: Interests- 2,3,4
Cover page should be fun!! Intro your self & then get personal! Make a seperate one for each job u apply for (I also have one general one). Recruiters hate the typical; this who I am, this is what I am interested in applying for & this is why I will be an assess crap. Tell 'im something personal. Like "this is my dream job. Ever since I was a kid and would sit at the dinner table with my Aunt as she would talk about the kids she care for I was always intralled with her stories and could see myself in that same position". Get the idea? Make sure only 0.50 to 0.75 page & a 1 pg resume. Recruiters read fast!
Good luck!

I am trying to write my future resume (geared toward a new grad RN position) for my portfolio.
Any ideas on sites for examples?
Thanks!
