Resident care coordinator?

Published

Hi all . I recently interviewed for a Resident Care Coordinator/ Nursing Supervisor position at a local LTC facility. LTC is not normally an area I have been interested in but this job description sounded great. Are any of you familiar with this position? Just looking for some realistic views on what this job entails. My interview went really well and I think I have a good shot at this position. Any info and/or advice would be appreciated.

Our resident care coordinator is amazing. She's a CNA. She does all kinds of things. I'd have to find a copy of the job description, but I don't know how we ever managed without her.

Specializes in acute care and geriatric.

I think that the best place for info is from the person who interviewed you, it would certainly show her/him that you are serious. No 2 facilities are identical and you should ask to speak to the outgoing RCC. If you are accepted you should ask for an overlapping period for orientation purpose. Lots of Luck
