Research Study: Violent Felons and Sex Offenders in LTC Nursing Facilities

ARE YOU A LONG-TERM NURSING CARE RN, LPN or CNA? This Principal Investigator is in search of participants for a research study being conducted to examine the perceptions and thoughts of long-term nursing care RN(s), LPN(s) and CNA(s) regarding residency placement of violent felons and sex offenders in long-term care facilities among the elderly and disabled residents and resident to resident aggressive behavior.

Research Study Title: DANGEROUS RESIDENTS: RESIDENCY PLACEMENT OF VIOLENT FELONS AND SEX-OFFENDERS IN LONG TERM-NURSING CARE FACILITIES, A QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS.

Information about the Research Study: As a participant in this study, you will be asked to: share your views and perceptions on the posed dangerous risk of residency placement of violent felons and sex offenders in long-term nursing care facilities among the vulnerable elderly and disabled and resident to resident aggressive behavior in a one-on-one telephone interview. Your participation will involve 1 telephone interview session for approximately 30 - 45 minutes. All information you share will be kept confidential.

Eligibility: Long-term Nursing Care Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nurses Assistants
