Hello Everyone!!!!! :)
Some one please help me!
I have to do a paper on nursing. Basically on the benefits of obtaining a BA vs. ADN degree. Is there anyone that can help me find information to write this paper or anyone that has a Bachelors that started out with an Associated degree that has moved up the ladder that would like to share there story with me please????!!!!!!

i got my adn in 1975 and my bsn in 1986. i wish i had gone for the bsn from the beginning. i had to retake anatomy and physiology and a bunch of other classes that were required by the university. there were some of my general education classes i had taken in junior college that the university would not accept in transfer because they said they were not up to the level they taught in their equivalent class. that was probably the most aggravating thing about doing school that way. however, as soon as i got my bsn i was approached about a position as a nursing supervisor at the hospital where i worked! although i generally start out in a staff nurse position because i just love hands on nursing, i often end up in administration or management soon enough. employers seem to recognize the difference between aa and bs education preparation. going the bsn route is rather vigorous and really puts you through your learning and studying abilities.
