Hi,

Does anyone know of a good travel nursing agency? I've searched, but can't say that I trust many of the websites. I'd like reloction and housing assistance. I am a L&D nurse with 2 years of experience. I'm looking to go the Detroit area. Anyone have experience with the hospitals there?

i have been with nightingale nurses for a year now and am extremely happy. i started with only a year and a half experience and i was placed immediately. i wanted only michigan. my recruiter was able to comply with my wishes. i know that up to a month ago that they had l & d positions in port huron, but don't know about now. they have always been available when i wanted to talk to them, and check in with me at least twice weekly. they will provide relocation and housing assistance. you can go to their website and submit everything online (application, resume, licence copies, etc...) or via fax. i am very pleased with them in regards to working hard on my behalf. good luck to you. i hope that you do speak with them. if you want to talk to them, the phone number is listed on the website, nightingalenurses.com.

I can tell you to avoid American Mobile or any of its sister companies.

Core and Cross Country are ones I've heard good things about.

Check out this web site, you'll have to register no big deal, but once you have you'll be able to check out agencies as rated by the NURSES THAT USE THEM. Other good info there as well.

As the prior replyer said, I would avoid american mobile at all cost including all of their sister companies.. They suck to high heaven.. Good luck. I have a friend with cross country now who is very satisfied with her recruiter..

I LOVE my company and recruiter(its my 3rd co) PPR Healthcare....they pay me as agreed without trying to screw me out of pay..they return phonecalls, send giftcards regularly, sent 2boxes of snacks when we got here, they keep their word....omg..never leavin them!!! Access Nurses...NEVER AGAIN!!!
