My license expired February 29, 2020. I have to complete 30 hours of continued education. Does anyone know if these online sites that say they offer those 30 hours are legit? I'm trying not to get scammed.
Also, I was also told by someone that I should just renew my license first and figure out how to complete the 30 hours after and then someone else told me to do it the other way around. Does anyone have experience in this?
I really need help, thanks in advance!

One needs to complete CE prior to license renewal. You posted your license expired in Feb 2020 --- over 1 1/2 yrs ago. Your board might issue license sanction as over 30 days late, especially if you worked during this time. 30hr education sites/booklets very often legit, especially those sent in the mail. You might need to query your BON to confirm able to renew at this time --link to BON found bottom every allnurses page.
Check out my blog post for free CE from various sources that I update yearly to help save our members money.
Best wishes in completing CR quickly.
Thank you so much. So after I complete my hours, do I call them and let them know or just go straight to renewing my license?
Have you been working while license is expired? That will change my response.
No I haven't. Last time I worked was October 2019 right before I had my son.
