remote telemetry and cardiac drips

Published

We are starting off floor remote telemetry at my hospital. Do any of you have experience with this kind of patient care? We take care of all kinds of patients including Renal and vasuclar. Also, do you give any drips...i.e cardizem?

In our hospital, remote tele means that the monitors are on one floor and the patients are on another. It is only used for patients who do not have a primary cardiac diagnosis, but who have a cardiac history.

So there is no monitor anywhere on the floor for the nurses to view? Wow.
