Relocating to Houston Area

Hi. I have been a nurse for a little less than a year working in PCU. I will be relocating to Houston soon. What hospitals and hospital systems do you recommend in the area? Preferably in the suburban areas outside of Houston. I am wanting to try something new most likely postpartum nursing. 

Also is it really that important to stay at a hospital for the first full year? I've been there for over 9 months and know that this is not where I am meant to be. Thanks so much for the advice in advance.
