Reinstatement in Nursing

Published

Hey everyone,

I am just wondering if anyone here left university/nursing school with not so great marks and was basically (kicked out) and applied for reinstatement?

Specializes in geriatrics.

Unless you have circumstances such as a death in the family, or something of that magnitude, it is very unlikely that any University will reinstate you. The programs are very competitive, and there are many applicants to select from. I had a friend who voluntarily withdrew, took a year off, and she was welcomed back to finish nursing school.

However, she was an A student, well liked by administration, and there were personal issues.

Oh, this is about education/school. I thought from the title it was going to be about loss of practice permit.

Entire other issue.

No experience with this but I would just contact the school and see what their policy is regarding this. They may have some hoops for you to jump through to prove that you are serious about it this time around.
