A team of RN's do bedside PICC placements at our hospital using ultrasound-guidance. Any PICC's they couldn't insert gets turfed to Interventional Radiology. Would this link help? http://www.bostonscientific.com/templatedata/imports/collateral/Radiology/rmbgde_PICC%20QA%2010_2006_01_us.pdf

I always did wonder about this .. Thanks for posting the code manual also. That will help in other areas!

This is a great site, thanks. Can you help me understand it? LOL There is the facility charge, the facility limiting charge and the conversion factor. Do I add the facility charge and the conversion factor today to get the payment amount or do I subtract the conversion factor from the facility charge? Thanks.

Our team of NPs place PICCS, central lines, a-lines, quintons, etc for our hospital. For PICCs, I believe it's around $420 per line.
