Hi everyone. I was just wondering if the university we studied(nursing) in matters to get a job?

For example, let just say the if there's two applicant(one from university of sydney and another one from Australian Catholic univeristy). Will the university of sydney applicant get a higher chance of getting a job than the applicant from australian catholic university as university of sydney is much more of a prestigious university?

I don't know anything about nursing in Australia but in the US (at least in my area), I'd have to say the answer to your question is no. The prestige of a university has nothing to do with what kind of nurse its graduates are. Where it would help you (at least here) is if the person you are interviewing with graduated from the same program you did. People are notoriously loyal to their alma maters.
