i am a registered nurse in india.my husband is a uk citizen.we recently got married and will be applying for a visa soon.i want to know how is the process there.once i get my visa,how should i go to become a registered nurse in england.since m married to a uk citizen,once i avail my visa ,i will also become a uk citizen.how will the entire proces take place..step by step...please explain......thank you...

You will not be a UK citizen straight away, doesn't work like that. You will however have permission to work in the UK. You need to go to the NMC website and meet registration requirements

first of all being a citizen will be a long process but you'll get rights to work. However, you need to take some board exam so that you get registered in UK too. The most important thing would be getting transitioned in different work area. Working on accent, learning about western culture, diff patient population, nurses autonomy. Everything will be smooth as long as motivation and passion for care is there.
I would suggest working as nursing assistant for few months so you get to know the difference and responsibility attached as healthcare provider.
