Hello, I am starting the Accelerated Masters Program, Direct entry in Regis College this fall 2011. I was hoping to get an insight into program and also possible advice on succeeding in nursing school. I currently work as a medical assistant in a dermatology office and I love it. I plan to work about 16hrs per week maximum while I'm in school. Regis has a fairly flexible schedule with possible evening courses. I would love to meet other newly accepted students to Regis College. I've heard great things about the school and am very excited about starting this fall! :)

I received a letter saying I am on the waitlist for the direct program 2011. Does anyone know what the odds are of getting in?

I don't know from experience, but my friend was waitlisted and got a spot ( and asked around about others who also got a spot in her search to this answer) so I think your chances are really good!
This is just an idea, but perhaps while your on the waitlist, you could have a (quick) new recommendation sent for them. My friend also had to call them to ask them a question about the waitlist, and took that as another opportunity to tell them how badly she wanted this etc. Both ideas may help you too!
Good Luck!!!
Great thank you for your feedback. I took your advice and I truly appreciate it.
I haven't heard anything yet. I pray every night that I get a nice letter in the mail.....
thank you!
