I don't know from experience, but my friend was waitlisted and got a spot ( and asked around about others who also got a spot in her search to this answer) so I think your chances are really good!
This is just an idea, but perhaps while your on the waitlist, you could have a (quick) new recommendation sent for them. My friend also had to call them to ask them a question about the waitlist, and took that as another opportunity to tell them how badly she wanted this etc. Both ideas may help you too!
Good Luck!!!
Hello, I am starting the Accelerated Masters Program, Direct entry in Regis College this fall 2011. I was hoping to get an insight into program and also possible advice on succeeding in nursing school. I currently work as a medical assistant in a dermatology office and I love it. I plan to work about 16hrs per week maximum while I'm in school. Regis has a fairly flexible schedule with possible evening courses. I would love to meet other newly accepted students to Regis College. I've heard great things about the school and am very excited about starting this fall! :)
I'm also starting this program in the fall, I'm really excited! I look forward to meeting you (and everyone) in the fall!
