Hi all, I am enrolled with excelsior. I was crusing along at an ok rate with my study partner. Even through some unbelievable bumps in the road. I had earned all A's until NC2. We did really well studying and I truly felt prepared but I ended up with a C. Now I know that is passing and C=Rn but still now I am a nervous wreck about NC3. When I took the NC2 exam I felt like I was looking at foreign material. It was a very strange test for me. My partner and I take our exams together as well her exam made sense and covered what we had studied she got a B. Mine had a ton of stuff we did not recall covering. I know I should not be so upset over a stinkin C but now I am afraid what if....the what ifs are killing me. Just wanted to whine and look for some support I guess. Thanks for listening.

hey how are you? Just to let you know I just took NC 3 and it was not all that hard. I use the Chancellor's study guides and they pretty much outline what you need to know. I am not sure if anyone else has used them, but I think they are extremely helpful. Also if you are worried you should go ahead and take the practice exam that EC offers. I did that to make sure that I was ready and it was a 60 dollars well spent.

I second ryoung's suggestion. Before I take the NC exams, I always purchase the practice exams from Excelsior. They are well worth the money, and I have found a few of the questions on the real exam were on the practice exam! (Maybe worded differently, but the pretty much the same question.) After I do the on line practice exams, I go through them and make hand written notes from the answers and rationales given. That really helps me. I also use the SETH test from the yahoo groups for practice. Every little bit helps!
