Recommended study guides... Did you buy them?

So, yesterday was orientation at nursing school... and I purchased all the mandatory books... But, I was wondering how many of you purchase the recommended ones? If you did, and have completed the courses, were they worth the extra money? I spent a good $600 on books already and the supplemental ones are another $200.

You're right Curious. That was a typo. It was the bookstore that I talked to but not the one that actually made the decision. Which made it all the more irksome...The teacher was the one that "required" it, and yet he was the one that told me that I was nuts for paying for it. He was replaced last week after he was fired/deported/quit though, so I guess it doesnt matter. :)
