I recently watched a documentary on HBO on Demand titled "white light/black rain" about the detonation of nuclear weapons over Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. As a nurse, it was very enlightening to hear the survivor's stories. They also did talk about the medical care the survivors required, which I found very interesting.
I think the subject matter is very important, and I think my fellow nurses would appreciate this film as much as I did. I was disappointed to see they didn't interview any nurses, only a doctor. But looking at the footage and the pictures of the hospitals, all I could think about was how brave those nurses must have been.
