Hello,
I am an RN with 8 years experience. I have not done Acute Care hands-on Nursing for 2.5 years. I have several weeks to prepare for a travel HH assignment. I was wondering if there are any "must have" books for Home Health Nursing. I prefer not to get them on Kindle.
Everything on Amazon is so outdated. Any HC Nursing Web sites to help me refresh? I know most of it will come right back to me, but just want to be prepared.
Many thanks,
Michelle

I'd recommend posting your query on the home health forum. You should get a lot of good reponses there.

Are you going to be doing OASIS. Biggest things to brush up on are OASIS-C and wound care. Wound care institute has some good alloghrams to research. Also brush up on case management and health coaching skills. Do you know will you be a case manager, a per visit or an admission nurse. These all need slightly different skill sec. Biggest thing about hh is you don't have control of the situation the patient does.
