Hi there,
I have to wait almost two years until I will start the RN program, and I was wondering if anyone out there, can give me an advice regarding things I could do to help me do well in the nursing program. Things, that one would've liked to know before one started the program. I took all the classes I need in order to be able to get into the program ( all anatomy, micro, math, English, critical reading.....etc).
Can anyone recommend some books I should read, or extra classes I should take. I would appreciate it

So from the sounds of it you did pass your HESI. Congratulations on that. I know you were very worried about passing the test. As I was too great job. Out of curiousity which school did you choose as your first choice? How did you feel to finally apply? I was told my an advisor to take a Human Pathophysiology class. She highly recommended the class. Congrats again!

Start working on the general ed requirements for the BSN.
This semester I finished up my last pre-req and graduated with an AA degree. I start the RN program in August, once I'm done that I'll go straight into the nursing classes for the BSN since I've completed the gen ed requirements.
Don't say you're not going to do the BSN, you just never know.
