? if you've recently taken the NCLEX RN in MA

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hi everyone,

I'm graduating in May of this year (finally!). Today we had a lecturer/NCLEX test prep woman come to our school and do review with us. She gave us the directions for how to register for the NCLEX (simplified version); and said we can register with Pearson Vue and fill out the application form ASAP.

So I came home, did my thing on the Pearson Vue website, put down my CC for the $200.

THen i find the MA BON website with the application to print and complete, and see that their people, the Professional Credential Services Inc has a note for payment as well, for $230.

Am I reading this right?? I Don't have a problem at all paying $430 if that's what I need to do, but obviously I don't want to overpay.

Anyone who has taken the NCLEX RN recently -- can you tell me if this is correct? What fees did you pay exactly? Thanks in advance :)

Make sure the name on your license or passport (whatever you are using) is an exact match to your application. The school hyphenated my name on the COG. On my license I don't hyphenate delayed me by several weeks. It was very frustrating and the school had to resubmit my paperwork to the MA BON. The dean was nice enough to overnight it.

We submitted our paperwork and the school submitted only the COG. Best of luck to you.

Does anyone know of an nclex review course in MA or NY that is offered in October or November?
