Reality Shock...

Hi everyone!

I am about to be graduating this June, and as a part of our nursing homework we are to talk to new nurses about the socialization to nursing after graduation. Did any of you guys experience a reality shock? If you did, how long did that shock last? Also, did you recover from the shock; if so, how?

I would greatly appreciate all of your responses! Hopefully they are not too intimidating for my future! :rolleyes:

reality shock: ZERO JOBS

reality shock: after applying to 100+ online applications, I learned from my volunteer position that the managers on the floor are required to post the jobs- but will more than likely hire internally. So online application i'd say 98% get dumped like trash into the black hole and never get read. -- unless they're actually desperate about hiring.

i'm talking about CALIFORNIA here. dont look for jobs here!!
